To start the application, connect the camera and use the Altami PhotoKit shortcut on the desktop, or the corresponding shortcut in the menu Start→Programs→Altami PhotoKit.
After that, you should see the Main application window with a Preview window(Fig. 4).

Possible launch issues:
The camera does not match this copy of the software (Fig. 5).

Each copy of the Altami PhotoKit program is bound to the supplied camera, if you try to run the Program with another compatible camera, you will receive an error message.
Unable to start viewing (Fig. 6).

This error appears when you start the program with an unconnected camera.
NOTICE: If you are using the MS Windows 2000 operating system, this error may indicate that the camera driver is not installed. For more information about installing the driver, see Connecting the camera. (Users of the MS Windows XP operating system do not need to install a driver for the camera.)
After clicking OK, the Main application window will be without Preview window(Fig. 7).

Altami PhotoKit Is already running (Fig. 8).

You are trying to run the program while another copy is already running. Click the button, navigate to the already running copy of the program, and continue working with it.
NOTICE: If you do not see another running copy of the program, open the Windows Task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete, or right-click on the taskbar, and select the appropriate item), and force the apk.exe process to complete.
Failed to connect to device (Fig. 9)

This error occurs if the previous camera session was finished incorrectly. Click OK, and then run the program again.
