To achieve this goal, a hardware and software complex has been developed based on Altami’s proprietary software and hardware. The machine is constructed by a modular type. Tobacco is piped through vibration feeder to the belt conveyor, and it is inspected by cameras under special light source.
In the control process, the menthol particles (flavor capsules) are recognized, the system sends a signal to withdrawal module, the separation mechanism triggers, and undesirable particles (aka garbage) move into a special container.
This technical solution is protected by the patent.

The operator turns On the machine, the tobacco mixture containing garbage (flavor capsules) is filled out, then reusable tobacco comes to separate container and while garbage get to a separate container.
The machine is running in completely automatic mode.
Economy of raw tobacco in the amount of 2.5% of the total used in tobacco production. The machine payback occurs after three weeks of continuous use. Can be used to sort any bulk materials if customized. For example, grain, tea, pills, capsules, bulk mixtures, confectionery products, even gold or diamonds.
